How should
I pack the cartridges if I am shipping in bulk?
We recommend that you place the used toner cartridge
in the original packaging material to prevent toner
leakage during shipment. The bulk carton will easily
hold 6 - 12 cartridges, possibly more if the cartridges
are small. Why is the
label not appearing?
You may need to temporarily disable your pop-up
blocker for the label to appear in a new window.
Why is the model number of my
Sharp copier not listed in the drop-down list?
We've listed only the most current models in the
drop-down list, however all Sharp toner cartridges
are included in this program and can be recycled.
The model number is not a required field on the
form.
Can I recycle fax cartridges?
While the program was developed for copier cartridges,
we will also accept used fax cartridges.
Can I recycle waste toner kits?
While the program was developed for copier cartridges,
we will also accept used waste toner kits.
Can I recycle the used drum cartridge?
Used drum cartridges are not included in the toner
recycling program. Please contact your Sharp dealer
for assistance with disposing of the drum cartridge.
Why should I ship used cartridges
in bulk?
You can help us conserve energy and resources
by collecting used toner cartridges in one of
our Bulk Shipping Cartons and returning them as
a bulk shipment. Bulk shipping cartons can be
ordered at no cost by clicking on the box in the
upper left corner of the recycling web page. We
recommend that you remove the toners from their
original cartons to cut down on the shipping weight.
Are the FedEx shipping labels
included with the bulk shipping cartons?
No, the FedEx shipping label is not included with
the bulk shipping carton orders. Once the carton
is full, please revisit the recycling web page
to enter your shipping information and download
the shipping label.
Can I print one label and make
copies?
No, FedEx assigns a unique tracking number to
each label. Users should enter the shipping information
specific to each request.
Does the FedEx label expire?
Yes, the UPS label must be used within 10 days
of printing. You should print labels only when
your shipment is ready to be picked up.
If I have multiple cartridges
to return, can I print one label and make copies
of it?
No, FedEx assigns a unique tracking number to
each label. If you have multiple cartridges to
return, you should return them to us as a bulk
shipment. Bulk shipping cartons can be ordered
at no cost by clicking on the box in the upper
left corner of the recycling web page.
By printing the label, is FedEx
automatically notified and a pick-up scheduled?
No, you should leave the package for your daily
FedEx driver. If you do not have daily FedEx pickups
or deliveries, you can drop-off your package at
any FedEx Office, FedEx World Service Center®,
self-service drop boxes or Fedex Authorized Ship
Center® location nearest you. |
